Make gluten-free cherry crumble in the air fryer for a no-oven-needed summer dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 cup butter
  • 3 cups pitted cherries
  • 10 tablespoons white sugar, divided
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup gluten-free all purpose baking flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Dice the butter into cubes and chill in the freezer until firm, approximately 15 minutes.
  • Preheat the air fryer to a perfect 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • In a bowl, toss together pitted cherries, 2 tablespoons sugar, and lemon juice until well combined. Transfer the cherry mixture to a baking dish.
  • Combine flour and 6 tablespoons of sugar in a bowl, then use your fingers to blend in the butter until the mixture resembles pea-sized particles. Sprinkle evenly over the cherries and gently press down.
  • Combine 2 tablespoons sugar, vanilla powder, nutmeg, and cinnamon in a bowl. Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the cherries and flour.
  • Bake in the preheated air fryer until slightly browned, checking every 5 minutes after 25 minutes. Close the air fryer, let the crumble sit inside for 10 minutes, then remove and cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
