Slow-roasted pulled pork in barbecue sauce for mouthwatering sandwiches.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3 pound) boneless pork loin roast, or more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon barbeque spice rub, or to taste
  • 1 (18 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a low 225 degrees F (104 degrees C) and set up a small rack in a Dutch oven.
  • Massage the pork roast with the flavorful barbecue spice rub and then carefully place it on the rack inside the Dutch oven.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until fork-tender, about 8 hours, covered.
  • Using two forks, pull apart the roast into small, tender pieces. Place the shredded meat back into the Dutch oven along with some of the delicious roasting juices and a liberal amount of flavorful barbeque sauce.
  • Simmer over medium heat on the stovetop for a minimum of 30 minutes.
