Simple oven-baked pork chops with Emmental cheese, flour, and cream.
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 4 pork chops
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1.75 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1.75 cups shredded Emmental cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
  • Tenderize pork chops with a meat mallet until thin, season gently with salt and pepper, then transfer to the baking dish.
  • Combine heavy cream, flour, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Pour the mixture over the pork and top with Emmental cheese.
  • Roast in the oven until the pork is fully cooked and the cheese is gooey and golden brown, approximately 45 minutes.
