Try this simple and spicy chicken taquitos recipe for a delicious Mexican appetizer - bake until crispy and golden brown for the perfect snack!
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 (10 ounce) can chicken chunks, drained
  • 0.25 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 5 drops hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®)
  • 12 corn tortillas
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish lightly.
  • Mix together the chicken and cheese in a bowl, then stir in hot pepper sauce according to your preference.
  • Heat each tortilla individually in a skillet over medium heat until soft and flexible, flipping once, for about 10 seconds per side.
  • Take a heaping tablespoon of the chicken mixture and spread it over half of a warm tortilla. Roll it tightly from the filled side to create a taquito. Lay it seam-side down in the baking dish. Repeat the process with the rest of the tortillas.
  • Bake in the oven until beautifully golden and crispy to your desired level, approximately 20-30 minutes.
