Creamy green beans and mushrooms - a kid-approved veggie dish in no time!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can green beans (such as Del Monte®)
  • 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1.5 tablespoons butter
  • 1.5 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • salt and cracked black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Drain most of the water from the green beans. Bring green beans to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat, then simmer for 5 minutes. Add mushrooms and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Combine the butter and cream cheese in a pot and stir until they melt together smoothly, which should take 3 to 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
