Experience affordable and flavorful fried rice for a versatile meal.
Ingredients:
36.40 gm peanut oil
150g rindless bacon rashers
200g (about 20) small green prawns, peeled
3eggs, lightly whisked
640g (4 cups) cookedwhite long-grain rice
1 small red capsicum, deseeded, diced
300g fresh peas or frozen peas, shelled
80g (1 cup) bean sprouts
31.50 gm light soy sauce
2green shallots, thinly sliced
Instructions:
In a sizzling wok, warm up the peanut oil over high heat. Toss in the bacon and prawns, stir-fry for 1 minute. Lower the heat to medium-high, pour in the whisked eggs. Use a wooden spoon to gently scramble the eggs until they are just set.
Combine the cooked rice with the capsicum and peas in the pan and stir-fry until well mixed for 1-2 minutes. Then, toss in the bean sprouts and soy sauce and stir for another minute until everything is well combined. Serve right away, topped with green shallots as garnish.
