Spicy jalapeno hot sauce perfect for sandwiches, marinades, and veggies. Boiled jalapenos blended with canola oil, salt, and pepper.
Ingredients:
  • 1.25 pounds fresh jalapeno peppers
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Prepare the jalapeno peppers by setting one aside and cutting the stems off the remaining ones. Slice them in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  • Add all the peppers to a large pot of boiling water and cook for about 15 minutes. Set aside 2 tablespoons of the boiling water, then drain the remaining water.
  • Remove the stem from the remaining whole pepper and add all the peppers to a blender. Pour in reserved water and canola oil, then season with salt and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy. Enjoy hot or chilled.
