Peppered lemon parsley salmon fillets, seared and oven-finished for a perfect crisp.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon whole black peppercorns
  • 4 salmon fillets
Instructions:
  • Heat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Combine butter, zesty lemon juice, fragrant parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add peppercorns. Coat each salmon fillet in the lemon mixture, ensuring the flesh side is covered, then transfer to a plate.
  • In a large oven-proof skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until it begins to smoke. Place salmon in the skillet, skin-side up. Sear until flesh is golden brown, around 1 minute.
  • Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake the salmon until it flakes easily with a fork, about 10 to 12 minutes.
