Cheesy beef and corn macaroni – a kid-friendly favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 0.33333334326744 cup chopped onion
  • 1.5 cups frozen corn
  • 1 (6.5 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 0.5 cup grated Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook elbow macaroni for 8 minutes until al dente, then drain.
  • In a large pot over medium heat, sauté beef and onion in oil until beef is browned and crumbly, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease. Stir in corn, tomato sauce, ketchup, water, chili powder, sugar, and seasoned salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for about 10 minutes until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
  • Mix macaroni into the savory beef blend and cook for approximately 5 minutes until heated through. Top with Cheddar cheese and let it sit off the heat until the cheese melts, which should take about 1 to 2 minutes.
