Elevate your pizza party with unique toppings like roasted bell peppers and a cracked egg for a gourmet twist.
Ingredients:
  • 30cm woodfired pizza base (see note)
  • 125.00 ml tomato passata (sugo) (see note)
  • 82.50 ml drained bottled capsicum strips
  • 250.00 ml grated pizza cheese (or use a mix of mozzarella and cheddar)
  • 42g egg
  • Oregano or small basil leaves, to garnish
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C for a perfect bake.
  • Spread the pizza base with passata, top with capsicum and cheese. Bake for 5 minutes. Use the back of a tablespoon to make 3 indents in the pizza. Crack an egg into each indent, season, and bake for another 5-6 minutes until eggs are set, cheese is melted, and base is golden. Garnish with oregano or basil leaves, then slice and serve.
