Try our simple 5 ingredient fairy bread balls for a fun twist on a classic favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 450g store-bought madeira cake, coarsely broken
  • 180g white chocolate, chopped
  • 300g (2 cups) icing sugar
  • 50.00 gm boiling water
  • 250g (1 cup) hundreds and thousands (or sprinkles of your choice)
Instructions:
  • Pulse the madeira cake in a food processor until coarse crumbs form. Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, ensuring the bowl doesn't touch the water. Stir until smooth and mix in the cake crumbs until well combined.
  • Form level tablespoons of the mixture into perfectly round balls by applying gentle pressure as you roll them. Transfer the hundreds and thousands to a plate.
  • Mix icing sugar and boiling water in a small bowl. Dip a truffle into the icing using 2 forks to coat thinly. Tap forks to remove excess. Roll in hundreds and thousands. Place on tray. Repeat with remaining truffles. Let them set. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
