Fig and ricotta toasties

Gourmet ricotta, fig, and honey toasties will impress your guests.
Ingredients:
  • 6 thick slices crusty bread (such as ciabatta)
  • 150g (3/4 cup) fresh ricotta
  • 6 slices prosciutto
  • 3 fresh ripe figs, cut into quarters
  • 57.20 gm honey
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Lime wedges, to serve
Instructions:
  • Toast the bread until it reaches a delightful light golden crispness, then generously spread each slice with creamy ricotta cheese.
  • Place a slice of prosciutto and two fig quarters on top of each slice.
  • Plate the toasties onto serving plates, generously drizzle with honey, sprinkle with freshly ground pepper, and serve promptly alongside lime wedges for added zest, if preferred.
