Delicious breakfast bar, perfect with tea. Enjoy with syrup, jelly, or honey.
Ingredients:
  • 3 eggs
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  • Combine sugar, flour, and salt in a medium bowl. Mix in eggs and milk. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth. The batter will be thin. Melt butter in the baking pan, swirling to coat all sides. Stir the remaining butter into the batter.
  • Pour the batter into the baking pan and bake for 30 minutes until puffed up and golden. Let it cool to flatten before cutting into squares and serving.
