Quick and comforting Filipino sour broth soup with tilapia fillets. Enhances your appetite with its tangy flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 pound tilapia fillets, cut into chunks
  • 1 small head bok choy, chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, cut into chunks
  • 1 cup thinly sliced daikon radish
  • 0.25 cup tamarind paste
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 dried red chile peppers
Instructions:
  • Combine tilapia, bok choy, tomatoes, and radish in a medium pot. Mix tamarind paste with water and add to the pot. Add chili peppers if desired. Bring to a boil and cook until fish is done, about 5 minutes. Avoid overcooking to maintain fish texture. Serve in bowls.
