Crisp cabbage wraps with tender white fish, topped with zesty wasabi mayo and cilantro sauce - a low carb, flavor-packed meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound cod fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 3 dried red chile peppers
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon wasabi paste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 8 large green cabbage leaves
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions:
  • Blot fish with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • In a nonstick skillet, heat canola oil with dried red chiles over medium heat until fragrant. Cook fish until opaque and edges are lightly browned, about 3 minutes per side. Season with salt and black pepper. Remove from heat and discard peppers before serving.
  • Mix together mayonnaise, wasabi paste, and 2 tablespoons cilantro until well combined. Spoon generous amounts of fish onto a cabbage leaf and wrap the leaf around the fish; repeat with the rest of the leaves and fish. Sprinkle each roll with cilantro for garnish. Enjoy with a side of wasabi mayonnaise.
