Elevate your beef meatloaf with French onion soup mix and crispy French-fried onions for a burst of flavor and texture.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 0.5 cup ketchup
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 0.75 cup French-fried onions
  • 0.75 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 1 (1 ounce) package French onion soup mix
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground ginger
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously spray a 9x5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray. Smooth a layer of ketchup and brown sugar over the bottom of the pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix together beef, French-fried onions, bread crumbs, eggs, sour cream, milk, soup mix, garlic, salt, pepper, and ginger until combined. Shape the mixture into a loaf over the ketchup and brown sugar.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C), approximately 1 hour.
