Buttered cabbage and noodles: Sauté cabbage in rich butter for a tasty, easy dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package egg noodles
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 medium head green cabbage, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, then add egg noodles and cook for about 5 minutes until al dente; drain.
  • In a large skillet, gently melt butter over low heat. Add cabbage, season with salt and pepper, cover, and cook until cabbage starts to brown, for 5 to 7 minutes. Incorporate cooked noodles, stir and cook until noodles begin to brown, approximately 5 minutes.
