Discover the crispy delight of fried polenta as your next must-have side dish!
Ingredients:
  • 300g instant polenta
  • 40g parmesan
  • 60ml cream
  • 40g unsalted butter
  • 36.40 gm olive oil
  • 10-12 sage leaves
Instructions:
  • Prepare the slice pan by greasing it. In a saucepan, bring 1.5 litres (6 cups) of water and 1 teaspoon of salt to a boil. Slowly pour in the polenta while stirring continuously. Cook over low heat for 6-7 minutes until thickened. Add cheese, cream, and half of the butter, season to taste. Transfer the mixture to the slice pan and let it set for 30 minutes until firm.
  • Cut the polenta into 12 rectangles. Heat oil in a frypan over high heat and fry polenta for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden. Drain on paper towel. In the same pan, add sage and remaining butter and cook until butter starts to foam. Pour over polenta and serve warm.
