Frightening Fanta scones

Whip up these spooky Halloween scones for a delightful and airy treat!
Ingredients:
  • 375.00 gm self-raising flour, sifted, plus extra to roll
  • 40g butter, chopped
  • 53.75 gm caster sugar
  • 125.00 ml FANTA Lemon
  • 128.75 gm milk, plus extra to brush
  • 65g fresh ricotta
  • 165.00 gm strawberry jam
  • Red writing gel
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 220C and lightly grease a baking tray.
  • Combine the flour and butter in a large bowl. Rub the butter into the flour using your fingers until well incorporated. Stir in the sugar, then add FANTA Lemon and milk. Mix everything together until a soft dough forms.
  • Transfer the dough onto a dusted work surface and gently knead until mixed. Flatten the dough to about 1cm thick using your hands. Use a 5cm circular cutter to make 26 scones. Arrange half on the baking tray.
  • For each scone, spoon 5g of ricotta and 1 teaspoon of jam onto the center. Cover with the remaining dough, sealing the edges by pressing gently. Brush the tops with extra milk. Bake until lightly browned, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Use writing gel to decorate scones with spooky faces.
