Fruit Smoothie Cubes

Whip up a refreshing tropical smoothie by blending bananas, pineapple, and frozen strawberries into ice cubes for a quick cold treat.
Ingredients:
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 (8-oz.) can crushed pineapple in unsweetened juice, undrained
  • 1 (10-oz.) pkg. frozen sweetened sliced strawberries in syrup, slightly thawed, broken up
Instructions:
  • Prepare 24 muffin cups with paper baking cups or use 2 ice cube trays. In a blender, mix all ingredients together until smooth, pausing to scrape down the sides 2 or 3 times.
  • Evenly distribute the mixture into paper-lined cups or ice cube trays, using about 2 1/2 tablespoons in each. Freeze for 3 hours or until completely solid.
  • Allow the fruit cubes to sit at room temperature for 1 minute, then carefully remove them from the cups, ice cube trays, or paper. Transfer the cubes to resealable freezer plastic bags and store them in the freezer until needed.
