Wholesome whole wheat pancakes topped with fresh fruit for a delicious and nutritious breakfast.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • 2 large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons Country Crock® Spread, plus additional for cooking and serving
  • 2 cups fresh fruit (such as blueberries, bananas, and strawberries)
  • Maple syrup
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix the flours, baking powder, and salt. In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and 2 tablespoons of melted Country Crock® Spread. Gently combine the milk mixture with the flour mixture until just combined; set aside.
  • Transform one tablespoon of Country Crock® into a silky pool in the skillet. Gently place 1/4-cup portions of batter onto the skillet, letting them sizzle to perfection on both sides. Continue the process with the rest of the batter, adding more Spread to the skillet as desired. Present the delectable pancakes crowned with extra Spread, vibrant fresh fruit, and a drizzle of maple syrup.
