Upgrade your PB&J with whole grain bread and fresh fruit for a healthier twist the whole family will love.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons chunky or creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon raisins
  • 0.25 cup chopped apple
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted dry roasted peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry jam
  • 2 slices whole-grain bread
Instructions:
  • On one slice of bread, generously slather peanut butter and top with chopped apples, raisins, and peanuts. On the other slice of bread, spread jam, then assemble the sandwich with the fruit and nut mixture.
