Garlicky molasses-marinated chicken wings, slow-roasted to perfection. A guaranteed crowd pleaser!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups soy sauce
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 dash garlic salt
  • 20 whole chicken wings, split
Instructions:
  • Combine soy sauce, garlic, molasses, brown sugar, honey, and garlic salt in a large bowl. Transfer 3/4 of the marinade to a resealable freezer bag, add wings, remove air, and seal. Chill wings in the refrigerator with the remaining marinade for 5 to 6 hours.
  • Allow wings to come to room temperature for 1 hour before baking.
  • Preheat the oven to a low 225 degrees F (110 degrees C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil and placing an oiled rack 1/2-inch above the foil.
  • Arrange the marinated wings evenly on the rack, leaving about a 1/2-inch space between each one.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Baste wings with some of the remaining marinade every 20 minutes a total of 3 times for 1 hour. Turn wings over, baste, and bake for an additional 30 minutes. Flip wings, sprinkle with garlic salt, and increase oven temperature to 350°F. Bake for another 15 minutes.
