Giant Easter Egg Cookies

Easter-themed, fun and simple recipe for making sweet memories with loved ones.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • Betty Crocker™ gel food colors
  • 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Fluffy White Frosting
  • Assorted candies, sprinkles and decorating sugars for decorating
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and cover 2 cookie sheets with foil.
  • Combine cookie mix, butter, and egg in a medium bowl until a soft dough forms. Divide the dough into 3 portions. Shape each portion into a large egg shape (7x5 inches and 1/4 inch thick) using your fingers. Place 2 portions on one pan and 1 portion on another pan.
  • Bake until gorgeously golden, typically 10-15 minutes; then allow to cool entirely for around 30 minutes.
  • Blend vibrant food colors into frosting to your liking. Use the colorful frosting and candies to decorate the Easter egg cookies.
