Simplify your cocktail game with a refreshing gimlet: gin (or vodka), lime, and simple syrup. A versatile drink for any occasion!
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 ounce simple syrup
  • Zest from one fresh lime (optional)
  • 2 ounces gin (Plymouth Dry Gin or Tanqueray)
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
Instructions:
  • Create a delightful lime-infused simple syrup by combining equal parts sugar and hot water in a nonreactive container. Allow the lime zest to steep for 10 minutes, then strain and chill any excess for future use.
  • In a cocktail shaker, mix the gin, simple syrup, and lime juice. Add ice and shake vigorously for 30 seconds until the shaker becomes frosty.
