Whip up a refreshing vodka gimlet with Key limes and raw sugar for the ideal mix of sweet and sour flavors.

Ingredients:

0.5 cup ice cubes, or as needed, divided
1 lime, zested in thin strips and quartered
1 raw sugar cube
2 fluid ounces fresh Key lime juice
2 fluid ounces vodka (such as Hangar One®)
1 splash club soda

Instructions:

Fill the cocktail glass with ice and chill in the freezer.
In a cocktail shaker, muddle 2 lime wedges and a sugar cube. Add ice, lime juice, and vodka. Shake until the shaker frosts.
Prepare the chilled glass by removing ice, wiping dry with a paper towel, and rubbing the rim with a lime wedge. Strain the contents into the glass and garnish with a twist of lime zest.
