Create gourmet spiced brownies by enhancing brownie mix with cinnamon, ginger, allspice, and nutmeg for a decadent treat reminiscent of cookies.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package brownie mix
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 0.33333334326744 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons strong brewed coffee
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 0.5 (10 ounce) bag chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch baking dish.
  • Combine the brownie mix, cocoa powder, brown sugar, confectioners' sugar, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, allspice, and ginger in a bowl.
  • Combine butter and coffee in a bowl and let it cool for 5 minutes. Mix in sour cream and vanilla extract, then incorporate it into the brownie mix along with the egg. Stir the batter with a wooden spoon until smooth (about 25 times), then gently fold in chocolate chips and stir another 25 times. Pour the mixture into the baking dish.
  • Bake until edges slightly pull away from the sides, 20-30 minutes in preheated oven. Let brownies cool before cutting.
