Spiced molasses coffee topped with whipped cream and cloves.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup molasses
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 0.75 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 6 cups hot brewed coffee
  • 1 cup half-and-half cream
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1.5 cups sweetened whipped cream
Instructions:
  • Combine molasses, brown sugar, baking soda, ginger, and cinnamon in a small bowl until thoroughly mixed. Chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of 10 minutes.
  • Pour a generous amount of coffee into each cup, followed by a spoonful of the spice blend. Fill the cup almost to the brim with coffee. Add the desired amount of half and half, and top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cloves for the perfect finish.
