Indulge in a delightful fall treat by combining fresh apples with gingerbread cake mix for a cozy and flavorful dessert!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (14.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Gingerbread Cake & Cookie Mix
  • 1 1/4 cups lukewarm water
  • 1 egg
  • 2 apples, peeled, diced
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Dash salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly coat a 9-inch square pan with cooking spray.
  • Combine gingerbread mix, water, egg, and diced apples in a large bowl. Transfer the mixture into a pan.
  • Combine butter, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl. Use a fork to mix until crumbly. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the gingerbread batter.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Enjoy warm or cold.
