Indulge in easy-to-make gluten-free chocolate cupcakes topped with colorful candy sprinkles for a festive celebration!
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups Bisquick™ Gluten Free mix
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 teaspoon gluten-free vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Betty Crocker™ Decorating Decors candy sprinkles
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Place a paper baking cup in each of the 12 regular-size muffin cups. In a large bowl, mix all cupcake ingredients with an electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds, scraping the bowl frequently. Increase speed to medium and beat for 2 minutes, remembering to scrape the bowl occasionally. The batter will be thick. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each halfway.
  • Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from pan and let it cool completely on a rack for about 30 minutes.
  • Combine powdered sugar and cocoa in a small bowl. In a large bowl, beat 1/2 cup butter on medium speed for 2 minutes until creamy. Alternately add the powdered sugar mixture and 1/4 cup milk on low speed until blended. Mix in 1 teaspoon vanilla. Frost the cupcakes, sprinkle with candy sprinkles, and store covered in the refrigerator.
