Elevate Betty Crocker® Gluten Free brownie mix with a decadent cream cheese filling for irresistibly delicious brownies!
Ingredients:
  • 4 oz (half of 8-oz package) gluten free cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 box (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Gluten Free Chocolate Brownie Mix
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (or 325°F for dark or nonstick pan), then lightly coat the bottom of a 9-inch square pan with cooking spray (without flour).
  • Combine filling ingredients in a small bowl and mix with an electric mixer on low speed until smooth; set aside.
  • Combine brownie mix, melted butter, and eggs in a medium bowl until fully incorporated (the batter will be thick). Spread three-fourths of the batter evenly in the pan. Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese filling on top. Spoon the remaining batter over the filling. Swirl through the mixture with a knife for a marbled effect. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  • Bake for 37 to 44 minutes until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side of the pan comes out nearly clean. Let it cool completely in the pan on a cooling rack for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Cut into 4 rows by 4 rows and store covered in the refrigerator.
