Indulge in flavorful gluten-free Italian meatballs for a delicious twist on a classic favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 cup gluten-free Italian bread crumbs
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 0.25 onion, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 sprig fresh parsley, chopped
  • cooking spray
  • 1 (28 ounce) jar tomato sauce, or as needed
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, whisk together milk and egg until smooth. Stir in bread crumbs until a paste forms. Add ground beef, onion, garlic, and parsley, then mix gently with your hands until just combined.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  • Use an ice cream scoop to portion out the meatballs. Roll them into balls with moistened hands and place them on the baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes until meatballs are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of at least 160°F (70°C).
  • Warm up the tomato sauce in a saucepan over medium heat as the meatballs bake in the oven.
  • Simmer the delicious baked meatballs in the sauce, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
