Adorable cupcakes to brighten anyone's day!
Ingredients:
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 1 tub 16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
  • Blue food color
  • 24 cocktail straws
  • 24 pieces dental floss
  • 24 Betty Crocker™ Shark Bites™ chewy fruit snacks (2 to 3 pouches)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans) and follow the box instructions to make and cool the cake for 24 cupcakes.
  • Combine frosting with 2 or 3 drops of food color. Frost cupcakes with blue frosting and create a wave-like pattern by lifting the frosting with a metal spatula.
  • For the fishing poles, trim each straw into a 3-inch piece. Cut the dental floss into 3 1/2-inch lengths. Use a needle to secure a piece of dental floss to the end of each straw, creating a fishing line effect. Then, attach 1 fruit snack to the end of each dental floss piece. Finally, garnish each cupcake with a fishing pole and store them loosely covered.
