Instant Pot creamy chicken: Succulent chicken breasts cooked in a flavorful creamy sauce, made effortlessly in the Instant Pot.
Ingredients:
  • 3 onions, coarsely chopped
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut in half
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 (24 ounce) container sour cream
Instructions:
  • Spread a layer of onions at the base of the multi-functional pressure cooker like Instant Pot. Drizzle over with luxurious melted butter and flavorful broth.
  • Combine garlic, poultry seasoning, salt, pepper, paprika, and smoked paprika in a small bowl, then mix into the onions before placing the chicken on top.
  • Secure the lid, set to high pressure following the manufacturer's guidelines, and program the timer for 9 minutes. Let the pressure build for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Naturally release pressure as per manufacturer's instructions for 10 to 40 minutes.
  • Place the chicken and onions on a plate. Use the Sauté function to simmer the juices for about 5 minutes.
  • First, sift the flour into the pot and stir until the sauce thickens slightly, which should take about 5 minutes. Then, add sour cream gradually, stirring well. Next, turn off the Sauté function. Put the chicken and onions back into the pot. Finally, select the Warm function to heat everything through, about 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
