Grandma's Thanksgiving masterpiece: Baby carrots, onions, and cheese topped with buttery round cracker crumbs.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds baby carrots
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 10 buttery round crackers, crushed
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large saucepan, cook the carrots and onion in 1 inch of water until the carrots are fork-tender, about 5 to 10 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.
  • Combine mayonnaise, sugar, and cheese in a large bowl. Mix in carrots and onion until well coated. Transfer mixture to a casserole dish and sprinkle crumbled crackers on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes until the sauce is bubbling and the top is golden brown.
