Savor this delicious grapefruit cocktail.
Ingredients:
  • 2 ruby red grapefruits, unpeeled, coarsely chopped
  • 40.00 gm caster sugar
  • 375.00 ml crushed ice
  • 375ml (1 1/2 cups) chilled vanilla-flavoured vodka
  • 185ml (3/4 cup) chilled fresh ruby red grapefruit juice
  • 185ml (3/4 cup) chilled pineapple juice Grenadine, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a spacious plastic bowl, combine grapefruit and sugar, then use the end of a rolling pin to crush the grapefruit.
  • Spoon the flavorful grapefruit mixture into serving glasses, add ice on top, and then mix the vodka, grapefruit juice, and pineapple juice in a large jug.
  • Divide the vodka mixture evenly among the glasses, add a splash of grenadine to each, and serve promptly.
