Grapefruit in caramel

Ingredients:
  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 3 ruby or regular grapefruit, segmented
  • 265g (1/2 cup) golden syrup
  • Thick cream or ice-cream, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a large frying pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the grapefruit and cook for 1 minute. Then, add the golden syrup and cook for another minute, gently stirring and turning the grapefruit segments. Serve warm with cream or ice-cream.
