Effortlessly whip up a flavorful one-pan dinner for a party of five in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 cups uncooked penne pasta (8 oz)
  • 2 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1/2 cup pitted kalamata olives
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano, undrained
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 3/4 cup crumbled feta cheese (4 oz)
Instructions:
  • Prepare the pasta according to package instructions, then drain it and cover to maintain warmth.
  • In a large skillet, sizzle bacon and onion over medium heat until bacon is crispy, stirring often. Add ground beef and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until fully cooked; remember to drain excess grease.
  • Combine olives, tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, and salt into the pot. Lower the heat to medium-low and let it simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until everything is thoroughly heated. Pour over cooked pasta and sprinkle with cheese before serving.
