Satisfying skillet dish of beef, green beans, and pasta in seasoned sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 box Hamburger Helper™ beef pasta
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen cut green beans
  • 1 can (4.5 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained
Instructions:
  • In a 10-inch skillet, sauté the beef over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked; then drain any excess fat.
  • Combine hot water, milk, sauce mix, uncooked pasta (from the Hamburger Helper box), onion, frozen green beans, and mushrooms in a pot. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  • Lower the heat, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, uncover, and let it stand for 5 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken. Stir well before serving.
