Asparagus bundles wrapped in flavorful steak, cooked fast in an induction oven for a delicious dish.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 pound thin skirt steak, trimmed of excess fat
  • 1 tablespoon Montreal steak seasoning
  • 0.5 pound thin asparagus spears, trimmed
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 0.33333334326744 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 jarred roasted red pepper, cut into six 1/2-inch strips
  • 6 toothpicks
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Flatten steak to 1/4-inch thickness with a meat mallet. Cut into 6 strips, each about 2 inches wide by 5 inches long. Season both sides with Montreal steak seasoning and chill in the fridge.
  • Preheat your Panasonic Countertop Induction Oven on the "Grill" setting to medium-high heat.
  • Place the asparagus in a shallow dish and generously drizzle with flavorful olive oil. Sprinkle with a perfect amount of salt and pepper to enhance the natural flavors.
  • Grill asparagus for 2 minutes, turning halfway through, then plate.
  • Preheat the induction oven to medium-high using the "Grill" setting.
  • Arrange the steak strips in a row, then generously sprinkle 1/3 cup of Parmesan cheese over them. Next, lay 3 to 4 asparagus spears horizontally on top of each steak strip. Finish by topping the asparagus with a red pepper strip.
  • Wrap the asparagus tightly with the steak, positioning at a diagonal angle to prevent overlapping. Use a toothpick to secure the roll.
  • Cook steak bundles on the grill for 8 minutes, flipping every 2 minutes. Transfer to a plate and generously sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese.
