Grilled cinnamon doughnuts with maple bananas

Ingredients:
  • Olive oil cooking spray
  • 2 large bananas
  • 54.00 gm maple syrup
  • 4 cinnamon doughnuts, halved horizontally
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice-cream
  • 62.50 ml pecans, toasted, finely chopped
Instructions:
  • Prepare the chargrill pan by giving it a light coating of oil and heating it over high heat. Cut the bananas into 8 pieces by first halving them horizontally and then halving them crossways. Brush the banana pieces with half of the maple syrup.
  • Grill banana and doughnuts for about 2 minutes on each side, or until they are lightly charred and heated through.
  • Assemble doughnuts and banana slices on plates. Add a scoop of ice cream on top. Drizzle with the remaining maple syrup, sprinkle with pecans, and serve.
