Grilled apple and cinnamon skewers

Kids will love these fun and easy fruity skewers!
Ingredients:
  • 1 red delicious apple, cored, cut into 8 wedges
  • 1 granny smith apple, cored, cut into 8 wedges
  • 20.00 gm caster sugar
  • 2.50 gm ground cinnamon
  • Reduced-fat vanilla yoghurt, to serve
Instructions:
  • Skewer the red and green apple wedges in an alternating pattern. Arrange them on a baking tray lined with foil and gently brush the skewers with water.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Sprinkle the mixture over skewers. Grill for 6 minutes or until the sugar melts and the apple softens slightly. Serve with yogurt.
