Grilled fruit kabobs drizzled with honey - a sweet summer treat!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup margarine
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 3 fresh peaches, pitted and quartered
  • 3 fresh plums, pitted and quartered
  • 3 bananas, cut into 4 pieces each
  • 12 strawberries, hulled
  • 12 skewers
Instructions:
  • Heat up your outdoor grill until it reaches a medium temperature, then lay a large sheet of foil on the grate.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter with honey until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Avoid boiling the sauce.
  • Skewer a quarter of peach, a quarter of plum, a piece of banana, and a strawberry onto each skewer. Arrange the skewers on the foil-lined preheated grill and generously drizzle with the honey mixture.
  • Grill the fruit until it's tender and the sauce has caramelized onto it, about 5 minutes. Flip the skewers, baste with more margarine-honey sauce, and grill for an additional 5 minutes on the other side.
