Succulent portobello mushrooms grilled to perfection in a tangy balsamic marinade with onion and garlic.
Ingredients:
  • 3 large portobello mushrooms
  • 0.25 cup canola oil
  • 0.25 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions:
  • Prepare mushrooms by gently cleaning them and separating the stems, setting them aside for future cooking. Arrange mushroom caps with the gills facing up in a flat dish.
  • In a small bowl, mix together oil, balsamic vinegar, onion, and garlic. Drizzle the marinade evenly over the mushroom caps and allow them to marinate at room temperature for 1 hour.
  • Prepare the grill by preheating to medium-high heat and greasing the grate.
  • Grill until golden and tender on each side for about 5 minutes; serve while warm.
