Grilled Steak, Florentine Style

Delicious grilled beef steak ready in 20 minutes - a juicy, mouth-watering meal!
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup olive or vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, cut into pieces
  • 4 beef T-bone steaks, about 1 inch thick (about 2 pounds)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
Instructions:
  • Prepare the grill by brushing the rack with olive or vegetable oil. Heat the grill over direct heat. In a food processor or blender, combine parsley, oil, and garlic. Blend until smooth.
  • Score the outer edge of fat on beef steaks diagonally at 1-inch intervals to prevent curling, being careful not to cut into the beef.
  • Grill the beef over medium heat, brushing with oil mixture, for 5 minutes for medium-rare or 7 minutes for medium doneness. Turn the beef, brush with more oil mixture, and grill for another 5 to 7 minutes until cooked to your liking. Finally, season with salt and pepper and discard any leftover oil mixture.
