Easy and delightful bars with soft texture and creamy frosting, reminiscent of beloved grocery store cookies but even tastier! A must-try for vanilla lovers.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 boxes (3.5 oz each) instant pistachio pudding mix (not sugar-free)
  • 2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 3 to 4 teaspoons milk
  • 12 drops neon green gel food color
  • 24 red candy heart decors
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously coat a 13x9-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, combine 1 cup butter, granulated sugar, and pistachio pudding mix until blended. Mix in eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla until smooth. Fold in flour and baking powder, then press dough into pan.
  • Bake for 25-27 minutes until edges are golden brown. Let cool completely in the pan on a cooling rack for about 1 hour.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat 1 cup of butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Mix in 1 teaspoon of vanilla and almond extract. Gradually add milk, 1 teaspoon at a time, until you reach the desired spreading consistency. Spread the frosting over the bars, then place drops of food color evenly over the top. Using a small metal spatula, swirl the food color to create a marbled appearance. Decorate with candy heart decors. Cut the bars into 6 rows by 4 rows.
