Spicy burgers topped with gooey Monterey Jack cheese and creamy guacamole for an extra kick.
Ingredients:
  • 2 avocados - halved, peeled, and pitted
  • 0.5 cup diced tomatoes
  • 0.25 cup minced onion
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
  • 0.5 lime, juiced
  • 1.5 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 0.5 cup diced onion
  • 0.5 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 6 slices Monterey Jack cheese
  • 6 hamburger buns, split and toasted
Instructions:
  • Heat up an outdoor grill to medium temperature.
  • Prepare the delectable guacamole by gently combining ripe avocado, tomatoes, onion, spicy jalapeño, tangy lime juice, flavorful garlic, and a pinch of salt in a medium bowl.
  • Prepare the burgers by combining ground beef, onion, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, and chili powder in a large bowl. Shape the mixture into 6 patties.
  • Grill burgers to your liking and melt a slice of cheese on each during the final minute.
  • Top with guacamole and sandwich between toasted buns.
