Upgrade your pork tenderloin by ditching the processed onion soup mix for fresh onions in this slow cooker recipe for a healthier and tastier meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (2 pound) pork tenderloin
  • 2 cups onion, sliced
  • 0.75 cup red wine
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons minced garlic
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Place pork tenderloin and sliced onions in a slow cooker. Pour wine, water, and soy sauce over the top and coat the pork. Spread garlic over the pork, leaving some on the top. Sprinkle with pepper. Cover and cook on Low for around 4 hours until pork is slightly pink in the center. Use an instant-read thermometer; it should read at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C) when inserted into the center.
  • Serve with au jus on the side to dip into.
