Pressure cooker perfection: Tender chicken hearts and gizzards coated in seasoned flour, sautéed with onions for a savory delight.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 pound chicken giblets (hearts and gizzards)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 0.5 cup water
Instructions:
  • Coat the interior of a pressure cooker with oil and preheat.
  • Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Coat giblets in the flour mixture.
  • Sear giblets and onion in the hot pressure cooker with the lid off for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until lightly sautéed. Pour in water.
  • Secure the pressure cooker lid and bring to 15 pounds of pressure. Cook until giblets are no longer pink inside, for 30 to 45 minutes.
