Delicious fluffy pancakes made with Cream of Wheat and tangy buttermilk. Perfect for a warm and filling breakfast treat!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups buttermilk
  • 1.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup dry farina cereal (such as Cream of Wheat®)
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix together buttermilk, flour, sugar, farina, oil, egg, vanilla, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until just combined using an electric mixer on low speed.
  • Preheat a lightly oiled griddle over medium-low heat. Spoon batter onto the griddle and cook until set in the middle, around 4 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown, for 3 to 5 minutes. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
